Consent Statement

This statement sets out the processing carried out on www.ggchemical.net that relies on your consent, and how you can withdraw it.

This is not a privacy notice. Information about what personal data we process, why, on what legal basis and for how long is provided separately in our Privacy Notice. We are required to inform you regardless of whether you give consent; the consent described here is entirely optional.

1. What We Ask Consent For

Only two activities on this website rely on your consent:

Activity Data used How consent is obtained
Sending commercial electronic messages — new product announcements, technical bulletins and campaign information Name, e-mail address, telephone number A separate, optional checkbox on the contact form
Placing non-essential cookies on your device Cookie data — detailed in our Cookie Policy The cookie preference panel

Nothing else on this website relies on consent. All other processing has a different legal basis, set out in section 3 of the Privacy Notice.

2. What Happens If You Do Not Consent

You are not required to give consent, and declining has no adverse consequence:

  • Contact form. You can submit the form, send your enquiry and receive a reply without opting in to marketing messages. Consent is not a condition of using this service.
  • Website use. If you refuse non-essential cookies, all core functions of the website continue to work.

This reflects Article 7(4) of the GDPR, under which consent is not freely given if performance of a service is made conditional on consent that is not necessary for that service.

3. Conditions for Valid Consent

Consent must relate to a specific matter, be based on information, and be given freely. Accordingly:

  • Checkboxes are never pre-ticked.
  • Each matter has its own separate consent; different activities are not bundled into one checkbox.
  • Visiting the site or submitting the form does not by itself constitute consent.
  • Consent is never made a condition of receiving a service.
  • Silence, inactivity and closing a banner are not treated as consent.

4. How to Withdraw Your Consent

Consent How to withdraw
Commercial electronic messages The unsubscribe link at the end of every message · through the Turkish Message Management System (İYS) · or by writing to info@ggchemical.net
Cookies The "Change Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of every page

Withdrawal is as easy as giving consent and is not subject to any additional condition. Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Where you withdraw cookie consent, the cookies concerned are deleted, not merely stopped from being written again.

5. Records of Consent

To be able to demonstrate that consent was given, we record the date of consent, the matter consented to, and the version of the text in force at that time. Retention periods for these records are set out in section 4 of the Privacy Notice.

6. Your Rights

Your rights under Article 11 of the KVKK and Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR are listed in section 8 of the Privacy Notice. To exercise them, use our Data Subject Application Form. We respond within thirty days at the latest.

7. Changes to This Statement

This statement is updated if the activities relying on consent change, or if the applicable law changes. The current version is always published on this page.
